About Me
Welcome to Owls R Pals! My name is Faith Taylor and I’ve been a creative person for as long as I can remember.
While all sorts of creative endeavors interest me, there’s been a special draw to all things fiber art. I started knitting when I was a preteen, but fell in love with crochet when it finally “clicked” in my early twenties.
In 2023, I began writing and publishing patterns in my Etsy shop, something I plan to continue doing for the years to come. In 2024, I began gaining some traction sharing my creative projects on TikTok. Since then, my platform and enthusiasm for crochet have only grown. Now in 2026, I’m taking some much-needed time to invest in making this website something great.
As I look to the future, I plan to continue sharing my creations with the world. My hope is to keep writing patterns, including free patterns to share with all of you!
Creating for a Cause
If you know me, whether in real life or from social media, you know I have WAY too many blankets started (approximately 35 regular blankets and 10 micro crochet blankets). I want to transform my massive pile of works-in-progress into an avenue for good.
It’s simple: for every $10 you donate to one of the three causes below, I cannot start any new blankets for another day. If I do, I have to make a $1 donation for every day left on my countdown.
- Dolly’s Dream Home Rabbit Rescue – a rabbit rescue in St. Louis, MO that serves a large online audience through their bunny care education.
- Cornerstone Center for Substance Abuse Treatment – a nonprofit that helps people struggling with substance abuse in Tehachapi, CA.
- Lil’ Pantry of Mount Vernon – a pantry that helps those facing food insecurity in my small town.
Once you’ve made a donation, take a screenshot of your donation receipt and send it to me via my social media accounts or email to cfaithtaylor@gmail.com. When I see your donation, I’ll add time to my countdown.
What happens if I finish all my blankets before the clock runs down? While I think it is extremely unlikely that this will happen, I would be allowed to work on up to three blankets at one time.
